He spent some years as a general dentist before realising his passion for endodontics (root canal treatments). This led him to take further qualifications in the area and he has completed a postgraduate diploma. He is currently enrolled to complete a Master’s degree in Endodontology.

Daniel enjoys the complexity and challenges root canal treatment brings and takes pride in making it a comfortable and pain-free experience for the patient. He particularly enjoys providing immediate pain relief for patients in crisis requiring endodontics.

His further qualifications allow him a more detailed understanding of the complex root system in order to tackle more advanced cases. He is a bit of a “root geek” and is currently carrying out research into the efficiency of different file systems designed for root canal retreatments.

Outside of dentistry, Daniel plays both 5 and 11-a-side football, padel, and golf.

Q: Favourite travel destination?
A: Anywhere in the 3 Valleys. I love to ski, and the variety of runs is unmatched there.

Q: What is your favourite sport?
A: Football. I’m an avid Manchester United fan. Growing up in Manchester, I used to go to all the home games and enjoyed the glory days. Now I must suffer what we have become.

A: Anything Tarantino.
